SO I am enjoying ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) advenarpg (WHICH NOW USES THE TWITTER TAG #advenarpg KTHX XD), which I am glad is doing at least relatively well. I has ideas for the ~future of the plot, which is also good since, uh, as the mod I should have that. INDEED.
Making lots of icons, which a bunch of I will hopefully post on Halloween in a sad attempt to be ~festive. Most of them will likely be from Merlin, so it works. I want to finish my Legend of the Seeker icons before the new season starts. I'm considering skipping ahead and doing the last episode nao since that's the one I want to do the most, and do the rest later during offseason next year or something, since I want to keep up with season two iconning better right off. Which reminds me that I really badly need to update my directory *headdesk*
Consider this one of my YOU NEED TO WATCH THESE SHOWS paragraphs. Been watching a lot of television, finally caught up somewhat with Hulu though I may do more of that today. Decided that even though I still have not gotten to Stargate SG-1 or Stargate Atlantis, I'd check out STARGATE UNIVERSE. It's WONDERFUL, I love it to pieces, I really do. I've seen comparisons to Star Trek: Voyager but I think there's some big differences, not just that SG-U seems (to me, anyway) a more serious show. It's great. Also, SANCTUARY is back and it is as awesome as ever, it really is. Helen and Ashley broke my heart at the end of the latest episode. I don't usually cry during shows (except occasionally) but that really killed me. FLASHFORWARD continues to get better, and I find it vry interesting and good. FRINGE is back and while it's not part of my top faves, it's still pretty darn good. |

I'm still tired as kittens. And for the past week or so have awoken at four in the afternoon CONSTANTLY. Not three pm, not two pm, and only once five pm. I finally fall asleep at like seven in the morning. Like, when I'm about to get to sleep, ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) hp_anon starts tweeting about school and my phone tells me so, and I'm jealous as crap that I'm just getting to bed. I want to be awake in the day! I don't want to wake up, get settled at the computer and then my dad comes home at 4:45 and is like "HOLLA!" I don't want to miss sunday lunch at my neighbours and Diane's delicious pork chops! I don't want to miss QUIZNOS tomorrow just because I'm sleeping! *cries* I almost got up at two pm today, but then I was like "oh I'll just roll over, close my eyes, and get up in a moment" which I did not.
Merlin season two is shaping up AWESOMELY, I must say. The second episode was absolutely amazing and I have a new ship, more or less. And Dollhouse isn't so bad, but the main reason I watch it anymore is for Topher, Adelle, and Dr. Saunders. I kind of don't care about Echo anymore, she's getting on my nerves. Oh and Sierra and Victor, too. Sierra made me lol so hard in the season premiere, omgosh. Fringe is aces up, forsrs. I want moar on the alternate universes! Moar on Peter and the drama llama there! Moar Peter/Olivia! Eastwick is srsly too much like Charmed for me, but I'll watch it still. It's just that Charmed was the first real show I ever watched, a show with plotlines and things, and I'm kind of past it's kind of dealings and I really don't want a remake of it, plz. V looks super interesting so I'll give that a shot. And as I previously said FlashForward is chiller, and Supernatural season five is... also chiller. And Castle is doing excellent, first episode of the season made me lol so many times it's a wonder I don't love this show more than I do, srsly. Community... is okay for now. We'll see. I have Stargate: SG1, the first episode in my queue, along with The Forgotten, and Modern Family. And there's another show coming out soon, I think, but I can't remember what... *shrug*. AND THAT WAS A FULL RECAP ON MY TELEVISION WATCHING. |

Megavideo went wack on me with only ten minutes left of the Vampire Diaries, and I still haven't been able to get it to work on other sites, and I don't want to use Megavideo because I want to watch the new Merlin episode there and I hate the whole You have watched a lot of fracking telly. Go kill yourself or wait fifty-four minutes. notice thing, which was what hindered me watching the rest of the show yesterday.
My iPod was being weird last night, refusing to come on after I turned off the screen after a screw up with my I Can Haz Cheeseburger? app. It's better after I plugged it in today, though. IDK.
Oh wowsers, it's still September, honestly? Rlynao.

( the vampire diaries; episode one. spoilers ahoy! )
also. I want to write a vampire novel. Just to completely beat the shit out of all the stereotypical vampire novels out right now. Such as-
-Boy vampire.
-New in town.
-Boy has sad past and is clearly a pedo.
-Boy meets girl.
-Girl has issues too.
-Either boy or girl is super special. (read: mind-readers? kiss my arse, vampires can be badass enough without ~special powers. sookie is a human and that's okayer.)
-SO on and SO forth.
My idea for a vampire novel is a gal lives in a small town, and is a mechanic. And she's a vampire, at least a few hundred years old. Ran off after her vampire-son was taken from her (idk I can come up with some mythos for that crap, just watch me), and moved to America to find her husband (who is also a vampire and older than hell. possibly a redcoat, too), but then is like "screw it" and hence she's moves around. And she has a boyfriend. Already, by the beginning of the novel. Anyway, so in this ~new age she's fine and well with her human life (and does not eat baby animals because I will totally think of a reason that doesn't also involve bloodbanks kthx) when who should move into town but a rich guy that just so happens to be her son. Yeah. And then shit happens after that.
... yeah, I've been thinking about this plotbunny for a while. Probably never write it because I am a more high fantasy magic, elves and crap sort of gal. IDK. |

My attention span needs some serious lengthening. SERIOUSLY.
It's a feat of wonders if I can go a few weeks with the same story keeping my interest to write. But then, of course, my mind wanders. Wanders to other, supposedly more awesome, story ideas. And then my brain gets tired of the same old, and begins to try to convince me that one of these new stories could be so much more interesting and fresh than the old one.
And then I end up with another part-finished story, and starting on a new one.
I have never, ever finished a story properly. As far as "improperly" goes, they were both for school, one was an essay-story that was just a big lolwhut thing, and the other was the most horrible thing ever, and ended with a "AND THEN SHE WOKE UP AND IT WAS ALL A DREAM" ending because I am the Procrastination Land Princess.
SO here I am, the past eighteen chapter fantasy tale open in three Google Document tabs in Firefox, and on my window bar, OpenOffice sitting quietly, enticing me to type something different than my run-of-the-mill fantasy genre.
Oh, fail.
SPEAKING OF FAIL. I failed my driving permit test. Again. Boo.
UNFAILY, Castle is an AWESOME show. Hilarious, adorable, and a murder mystery! THREE OF MY FAVOURITE SHOW QUALITIES. Also, it has Captain Mal Reynolds in it. Firefly actor's shows make me happy! Unless it's Summer Glau and the Sarah Conner whatsit. |

OH, how boring it must be to see posts by me that are actually by LoudTwitter that are so mind-numbingly lame that even I am confused as to why I would even bother Twittering about such a thing.
And plus I want to CAPSLOCK for a moment here.
FOX BETTER NOT CANCEL DOLLHOUSE.
luckily I don't think I have to worry about my other shows, since Fringe, Legend of the Seeker, and Supernatural have all been renewed. And Monk and Psych are returning this summer. And Santuary, and Lie to Me this fall. And Merlin and Doctor Who in fall/next year/whenever the British say so.
AND ALSO CHUCK. CHUCK BETTER NOT BE CANCELED I LOVE CHUCK.
And then that show, Glee, looks like it might be okay for lolariousness. AND MERLIN IS GOING TO BE ON NBC. The Philowhatsitimtoolazytocopypastethename looks mildly lame, but I may give it a shot if I see it pop up on Hulu. The Listener as well. And if they call any more shows "The SOMETHINGOROTHER" someone is going to get hit by my books. I MEAN, WAY TO BE ORIGINAL AND CREATIVE. JUST LEAVE OUT THE "THE", AND IT WOULD SOUND FINE. I mean, really now. It's like saying "The I Dream of Genie" or "The Cheers" or "The Monk" or "The Psych" or "The Doctor Who". IT'S NOT RIGHT.
Looks like good movies this year. Up, Land of the Lost, Year One, HPB, Taking Woodstock, New Moon, and then some other stuff all look interesting. Well. New Moon only because I like to lol at the dramatic hilariousness of the whole ordeal. And Jacob is cute. |

So! My existence has been non-existent lately, and that is rather lame of me.
I've been hanging around deviantART, MMORPGS, Hulu, and staring in awe at the pretties at Etsy. My brain is mushy. Yay, mushy. And begging my father for an iPod touch. Because it has a touch screen and all that high-tech awesomeness.
Also been having a fondness for the idea of making clothes or choker necklaces or becoming a stock photographer/model, all of which will likely pass soon, and I will return to my never-finished stories, and/or reading good books, and/or possibly RPing. So all is usual!
My friend/neighbour Patricia is in the hospital with pneumonia, but she thinks she'll be able to come home tomorrow which is epic win. However, there may have been someone messing with her house because the computer had been messed with, and it seems the guy who stole a blank-name cheque for $200 may be behind it since what had been fiddled with was a big picture of his face on Patricia's computer. Yeah.
And I am seriously missing Doctor Who right now. And Merlin. Why does the BBC only do 13-episode seasons? Why not 22-episodes with a mid-break? As well, Supernatural is ♥, though I am sick of the Hell/demons/angels thing.

WELL.
Finished the first season, started the second, and GOD DO I LOVE THIS SHOW. And every time rock music starts playing, I love it more, because you just don't hear good music like that on shows anymore! SUPERNATURAL FOR THE WIN.
And the last episode I saw reconfirmed my hate of clowns. |

MY BRAIN JUST EXPLODED.
I SPENT. 75 DOLLARS IN ONE CLICK.
worth it, BUT DAMN. ASDFGHJKL; I have never spent such a large sum of money in my entire life.
I bought Firefly on DVD! I've seen all fourteen episodes, but I love the series so much, I want to show it to my parents and friends and then watch it over and over again. FOX is made of evil, evil bastards for canceling such a wonderful show, I swear.
I also bought three good-sounding books. Which meant I got free shipping, seeing as I spent over 25 dollars. Yay me!
I have become a TV addict the last few days, it seems. Now I must dig out Supernatural and Heroes, because I have been meaning to watch both of them (mainly SN, but I will attempt Heroes too).
Now I have three apps to do, two for the_mgmt and one for blurred_lines. I'm re-writing one so it makes more sense, and one really needs to be done especially since he has Stephen Colbert for my choice of PB and that is v. v. important, and the third I think will either be very easy or very hard.
This week has been much too crazy. |

SO. Some TV show recommendations for all you who are forced to glance at my journal posts.
SANCTUARY: A new ScFi Channel show! A bit cheap, but I think it's a fairly interesting show. It's about this very old doctor-lady who created a sanctuary for all of nature's mistakes and wonders. As in, it's a safe-house for creatures who would rather not be shot by rude people, and captivity for creatures who are incredibly dangerous to others. And anything with any sort of creatures and they don't hunt them is good in my books! It airs on Fridays on the ScFi Channel, and is available on it's website, as well.
FRINGE: A new Fox show! It comes from the creators of Lost, and has been repeatedly compared to X-Files, but is definitely nothing like either one. It's about a detective who's life really kinda sucks, a mad-scientist who was in a mental institution for seventeen years, and the mad-scientist's son who is hot and wonderful and awesome. Also, there's (or was, IDK if she'll come back after the last episode) cute lab assistant who seriously needs more face-time, and a cow. Literally, a cow. It's very dramatic, but it has some humour to balance it at times. Some skeptics would say it's science is ridiculous, but of course they probably don't think that cell phones are popular, either. It airs on Thursdays on Fox, and is available on it's website, as well as others.
CHUCK: A completely non-sciencey show that is now in it's second season on NBC! It's a funny show about a geek who gets all of the government's secrets stored into his brain. It also has two special agents, a cranky, serious man-agent, and of course, a butt-kicking, gorgeous girl-agent who the titular character is in love with (and in my opinion, she loves him back!). It's funny, and original, and did I mention funny? It airs on Monday nights on NBC, and is available (apparently as all shows are) on it's website.
