SOMETHING I RECENTLY LEARNED:

Combining iconning of girls from fantasy shows (such as Katie McGrath from Merlin) with listening to songs by Nightwish will result in writing splurges. Current evidence shows said writing will be made of crap, but personally I'm happy to be writing anything no matter how fail it reads.

Yay me!

OH, and apparently I should never, ever watch Nighwish's music videos. Because I watched one. And now I can't listen to that song ever again because it broke my brain. asjfhskjfsng :/

In other news, I am alive, and well. And I like who McCain chose for his running mate.

And now I need to find a replacement PB for Lil of the Rugrats, because I know the PB I had chosen was from Skins, and that fandom was just added to the game and I would feel like a bitch if I snatched her up now. Even if she is absolutely PERFECT for Lil. Oh well. MWHAHAHA THAT WAS BEFORE I LEARNED LIL HAD STRAIGHT-LOOKING HAIR NATURALLY. I HATH BEEN SAVED!

And I have to write up an aliens-on-earth story by next Friday. And fix the pearl necklace I broke. The latter shall be far more simple than the former.

I love listing terms when writing a story, but I think I work better when I don't know what's going on before I type it. How strange, yes? Like, if I know less about what the plot is, the easier it is to write. Damn my brain wanting to think it up before I get that far! Though, I love the plot. It's just my sort of book. Misplaced Monarchs, dead people that aren't dead, lower-class people being awesome, girls with tough attitudes, older people that are smart, bad-ass sucky rulers, and wars with magic! I even have sequel series to this one planned, one at the founding of their country, about their  "goddess/saint", and the other about this mute girl in this story that's only getting .5 seconds of mention here, and one about an upcoming queen in the future of this story, and heck maybe a wizarding sequel. Clearly I am ahead of myself, but I love it soo much.

As for what I'm reading, I have  a book on hold at the library (a Mercedes Lackey/James Mallory book!), which I'll likely pick up Monday, and dive into. It's called The Phoenix Unchained and it's the first in their new Enduring Flame series, set 1,000 years after their Obsidian Trilogy. Eeee I can't wait!

I watched Caddyshack last night, it was funny. My family is watching 300 right now. I really want to see Indiana Jones 4, Prince Caspian, Zohan, and Kung-Fu Panda, but alas I am broke. Shouldn't there be a HBP trailer out by now? I mean, dude, Twilight's got one.

My hair is driving me a bit batty, and i still feel like I look like the long-lost Weasley who is a rejected boy-band member, though everyone is saying it looks good on me, better than my mop of brown. It's just... weird. I feel like I need to wear extra girly stuff to prove that I'm a girl.


EDIT: and holy shit my story just got very violent, and *shudders*.

--Figure out if the Herald's partners should be horses, or if that's too Lackeyish.

--Decide if the Herald Trainee Place should be in Ravenwood or the capital. Or somewhere else entirely.

EDIT; WHY DOES MY BROTHER NOT HAVE A WIKI PAGE?! GRR WHY CAN'T HE JUST GO TO DAMN REAL PUBLISHER. THEN MAYBE SOMEONE WOULD READ HIS BOOKS, AND MAKE HIM A WIKI ARTICLE.

EDIT: also, I just went through the archive in this journal and wow I update a lot with useless junk.

Mm. To make this post interesting... I am iconning a red head Diane Kruger! WHY DID SHE DO THAT. But it does look good on her. AND THEN. That 477 icon Alexis split posts KILLED ME AND MY INTERWEBZ NUMEROUS TIMES. Also I have a million ideas for my Vampire Story including disco, geeks, playing go fish, evil councils, war, and sun chips.

LASTLY. Wtf my dog is afraid of the outside! Everytime I open the door for him to go out, he sniffs at the door, then runs back inside. Of course, he'll follow my dad outside. I wonder what's scaring him tho.
