Merlin is home and as crazy as ever. He's up and about just fine, if not extra so. He keeps knocking his water and food over, so. He's not interested in his dry food but loves his treats. And is currently gobbling a bit of canned food. Yummy. The vets made a point of saying that he was SO CUTE AND ADORABLE AND PRETTY so I am in a My Cat Is Awesome mood. Or was. Whateves.
I have to stay away until eleven so I can help my neighbour in the gate from coming home from bingo, so. Tired. Vry tired. Less than two hours to go! May nap! IDEK!

Anyway, I'm working on Georgie Henley icons for my bb (bb meaning 15 yrs old YES SHE CAN PASS FOR 15. THERE ARE YOUNG 15 YR OLDS OUT THERE) Minerva at AM (![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ammods WHICH IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN, I AM SHOCKED), and I thought to myself that Skander Keynes would be an epic young Tom Riddle. Eh? Eh? Also, I'm almost tempted to age her up a year or two and use Anna Popplewell, because in LWW Susan wears a tartan skirt and Lucy never wears any tartan and it's a crying shame. But I shall resist. Because I am 50 icons in and I don't want to start a new set without finishing this set and the W13 Joanne Kelly set.
Merlin is at the vet, getting fixed. I am, of course, worrying my arse off because NO VET IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR MY BABY KITTEH AND IF THEY HARM A HAIR ON HIS FURRY SELF I WILL BE PISSED because I am paranoid like whoa. Hence I didn't go when daddy took him down there. But will go when he picks him up. Yep.

I'm still tired as kittens. And for the past week or so have awoken at four in the afternoon CONSTANTLY. Not three pm, not two pm, and only once five pm. I finally fall asleep at like seven in the morning. Like, when I'm about to get to sleep, hp_anon starts tweeting about school and my phone tells me so, and I'm jealous as crap that I'm just getting to bed. I want to be awake in the day! I don't want to wake up, get settled at the computer and then my dad comes home at 4:45 and is like "HOLLA!" I don't want to miss sunday lunch at my neighbours and Diane's delicious pork chops! I don't want to miss QUIZNOS tomorrow just because I'm sleeping! *cries* I almost got up at two pm today, but then I was like "oh I'll just roll over, close my eyes, and get up in a moment" which I did not.
Merlin season two is shaping up AWESOMELY, I must say. The second episode was absolutely amazing and I have a new ship, more or less. And Dollhouse isn't so bad, but the main reason I watch it anymore is for Topher, Adelle, and Dr. Saunders. I kind of don't care about Echo anymore, she's getting on my nerves. Oh and Sierra and Victor, too. Sierra made me lol so hard in the season premiere, omgosh. Fringe is aces up, forsrs. I want moar on the alternate universes! Moar on Peter and the drama llama there! Moar Peter/Olivia! Eastwick is srsly too much like Charmed for me, but I'll watch it still. It's just that Charmed was the first real show I ever watched, a show with plotlines and things, and I'm kind of past it's kind of dealings and I really don't want a remake of it, plz. V looks super interesting so I'll give that a shot. And as I previously said FlashForward is chiller, and Supernatural season five is... also chiller. And Castle is doing excellent, first episode of the season made me lol so many times it's a wonder I don't love this show more than I do, srsly. Community... is okay for now. We'll see. I have Stargate: SG1, the first episode in my queue, along with The Forgotten, and Modern Family. And there's another show coming out soon, I think, but I can't remember what... *shrug*. AND THAT WAS A FULL RECAP ON MY TELEVISION WATCHING. |

SO. I was iconning Molly Quinn alongside Stana Katic from the new episode of Castle (which was awesome, by the way, oh my gosh), and I was reminded of how much I adore this girl and really wish I had a place to use her as a PB which reminded me of when I used her for the infamous (to me, at least) Eleanor "Elly" Beckett, fantasy author and master of lulz who I never really (read: at all) got to play. And I don't want to try to slap her face and her base onto a different name, different person like I attempted with Lilylu that didn't pan out. And to be honest, I find the chances of ever being able to find a game that would fit her next to zero.
In that train of thought, I remembered that NaNoWriMo is coming up, and that I have considered writing a story for her in the past. So, she's added high on my list of NaNo stories this year. Since I clearly can't take the premise of the game she was in, I'm thinking a "dream" tale of her in one of her books. As in, she "falls into"/wakes up in one of her whimsical fantasy tales. The question is, is the fantasy world the dream, or is the life she thought she knew was real the dream? Does that sound like an interesting story premise? I think it does. And I know, for sure, that I can write her, and write her well, so I think she'd be an excellent choice. Also: something new. I don't write very far into stories with people from ~real world, and while there's a fantasy world (that may actually be the real one), it would be new. I like that.
(for those confused this is my dear elly.)
Oh, and I think that I may have a reactability to catnip. Like, the smell is srsly making me dizzier than I was before. I've been really dizzy and light-headed the past couple of days, and it's not just the catnip because I felt like this yesterday and I haven't crazied my cat for a month before this morning, so. If I seem more off-kilter right now, it's because I'm woozy like whoa. |

Megavideo went wack on me with only ten minutes left of the Vampire Diaries, and I still haven't been able to get it to work on other sites, and I don't want to use Megavideo because I want to watch the new Merlin episode there and I hate the whole You have watched a lot of fracking telly. Go kill yourself or wait fifty-four minutes. notice thing, which was what hindered me watching the rest of the show yesterday.
My iPod was being weird last night, refusing to come on after I turned off the screen after a screw up with my I Can Haz Cheeseburger? app. It's better after I plugged it in today, though. IDK.
Oh wowsers, it's still September, honestly? Rlynao.

Oh my god. Worrying over AM has returned me to my habit of chewing on my hair. FML. I had grown out of that! I used to chew on my hair nervously when I was younger but it officially stopped when I chopped off my hair into a pixie cut last year and now the habit is back and that sucks monkey socks. Bad Megan, very bad Megan!
Got some things on my to-do list done via Sprinkles picking numbers but that ended when I didn't get around to doing 7 as picked in KSU-chat and that is still waiting to be done. JOY, CAITLIN, DORA SHOULD BE JUMPING INTO TONKS FAM THREAD NAO, Y/N?
Anyway Merlin mai kitteh is a little shit. He keeps knocking over the lamp by the window, which breaks and I have to put it back together, he knocked over a dead pot filled with soil and dead bb roses, he's repeatedly knocked over a heavy glass thing of my mom's despite it being no where near the edge, steals my stuff, attacks our feet, jumps onto the edges of walls and hangs there for a moment with his claws in the wood, and won't eat all his food because he is a picky little bastard!

WEIRD THOUGHT OF THE DAY
If one of my characters were an actual person (and if his fandom was a real thing), he would have just begun Hogwarts this month. I find that kind of odd to think about, as I just hit the first paragraph on Hogwarts in his history for a game. IDK it almost makes me want to play an eleven-year-old him from RIGHT NOW rather than what I chose for him IDK ODD.

Just a couple of things since I am in a hurry and am tired and whatevering.
1. KFC TOTALLY HAS MADE TACO BELL IT'S BITCH.
2. District 9 is a BADASS movie. Very different, and I really liked it, srsly. It's rather gritty and violent and keysmash worthy, but I still liked it. And the ending scene was my favourite part, with the flowerrrrrrrr GO SEE FOR YOUSELVES.
3. I got bubbles (you know, the bubbles with the wands and you blow them) at Wal-Mart along with ice cream cones, and a kitty collar for Merlin. CAUSE OBVI I AM A NORMAL SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL IN WAL-MART ON HER BIRTHDAY.

IN EXPLANATION;
My dog bit my mother, and IDK WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING.
Basically, what happened was that she just reached down to pet him and he went FUCKING PSYCHO ON HER. NO REASON. NO FUCKING REASON WHATSOEVER. My mother has always been nothing but NICE to him, we've had him for YEARS and the idea that he could do this is fucking INSANE and I am totally freaking out right now and I, personally, don't like the look of the wounds, considering my mother's general health. I don't know, she looks better now, but I DON'T KNOW.
When I got the call from my dad, I was sitting with Diane and Patricia in a doctor's office, and I was like "Why is daddy calling?" and for some mad reason I was thinking library books or food, but then he told me he was at home, and I was scared to death that Scooby had bitten my itty bitty kitty Merlin, I NEVER EFFING EXPECTED THIS WHAT THE HELL.

OH, how boring it must be to see posts by me that are actually by LoudTwitter that are so mind-numbingly lame that even I am confused as to why I would even bother Twittering about such a thing.

luckily I don't think I have to worry about my other shows, since Fringe, Legend of the Seeker, and Supernatural have all been renewed. And Monk and Psych are returning this summer. And Santuary, and Lie to Me this fall. And Merlin and Doctor Who in fall/next year/whenever the British say so.
AND ALSO CHUCK. CHUCK BETTER NOT BE CANCELED I LOVE CHUCK.
And then that show, Glee, looks like it might be okay for lolariousness. AND MERLIN IS GOING TO BE ON NBC. The Philowhatsitimtoolazytocopypastethename looks mildly lame, but I may give it a shot if I see it pop up on Hulu. The Listener as well. And if they call any more shows "The SOMETHINGOROTHER" someone is going to get hit by my books. I MEAN, WAY TO BE ORIGINAL AND CREATIVE. JUST LEAVE OUT THE "THE", AND IT WOULD SOUND FINE. I mean, really now. It's like saying "The I Dream of Genie" or "The Cheers" or "The Monk" or "The Psych" or "The Doctor Who". IT'S NOT RIGHT.
Looks like good movies this year. Up, Land of the Lost, Year One, HPB, Taking Woodstock, New Moon, and then some other stuff all look interesting. Well. New Moon only because I like to lol at the dramatic hilariousness of the whole ordeal. And Jacob is cute. |

SOMETHING I RECENTLY LEARNED:
Combining iconning of girls from fantasy shows (such as Katie McGrath from Merlin) with listening to songs by Nightwish will result in writing splurges. Current evidence shows said writing will be made of crap, but personally I'm happy to be writing anything no matter how fail it reads.
Yay me!
OH, and apparently I should never, ever watch Nighwish's music videos. Because I watched one. And now I can't listen to that song ever again because it broke my brain. asjfhskjfsng :/ |

So! My existence has been non-existent lately, and that is rather lame of me.
I've been hanging around deviantART, MMORPGS, Hulu, and staring in awe at the pretties at Etsy. My brain is mushy. Yay, mushy. And begging my father for an iPod touch. Because it has a touch screen and all that high-tech awesomeness.
Also been having a fondness for the idea of making clothes or choker necklaces or becoming a stock photographer/model, all of which will likely pass soon, and I will return to my never-finished stories, and/or reading good books, and/or possibly RPing. So all is usual!
My friend/neighbour Patricia is in the hospital with pneumonia, but she thinks she'll be able to come home tomorrow which is epic win. However, there may have been someone messing with her house because the computer had been messed with, and it seems the guy who stole a blank-name cheque for $200 may be behind it since what had been fiddled with was a big picture of his face on Patricia's computer. Yeah.
And I am seriously missing Doctor Who right now. And Merlin. Why does the BBC only do 13-episode seasons? Why not 22-episodes with a mid-break? As well, Supernatural is ♥, though I am sick of the Hell/demons/angels thing.
